Add a couple more.....

Thought I'd better add a few more layouts to the blog since I had 3 picked up for publishing today by Scrapbooking Memories! (Yeah!)
So I've had to remove them from here there and everywhere!

Here is my little Snow Bunny Ella in New Zealand.  Isn't she so cute!

One for Gail's sketch at Blossies. Her first ride on her Uncle's Harley.
Another Blossie's DT Theme of Black and White. I actually covered the E with a serviette.
Another one for Blossie's, my LSS. Gail's sketch sample from a couple of months ago.
That's all for now until I finished the latest one's I'm working on :)
All my really nice ones got picked up! Oh well, can't complain, it's all extra scrapping money!
Have a great weekend ......

Layout time.......

Thought it was about time for some layouts instead of New Zealand photos.
I have finally got around to taking photos of some layouts I did before and after I left Oz!

First one is for the latest challenge at "Let's get Shabby"
Criteria is : White / Cream with a hint of another colour.....I chose Brown.

I absolutely LOVE this photo of Olivia at Lake Tekapo in the early morning light!

This next one was for my LSS Blossie's monthly theme of Favourite Manufacturers.....I chose My Minds Eye.

The next one I chose was Sassafrass Lass.

This one was using Cosmo Cricket.....of Olivia and Ashley.

And this is a fun one using the beautiful Websters Pages and a wing that I've had for ages!

That's all for now, must go and finish the vacuuming!
Have a great weekend and I will upload some more New Zealand ones next week.

New Zealand Part 2...

Had to share another couple of pics of the girls in the snow , they had an absolute ball in the white stuff! Here is my boarder girl looking pretty cool in her gear.

And here is little Ella having a ride on a tobbogan! It was bit fast she said!
Dave did the bungy thing in Queenstown!!! I think it's CRAZY!!

We went to a beautiful castle in Dunedin called Lanarch Castle. Walked around the gardens and they were beautiful!

View from the gardens ..........

We then drove to Lake Tekapo and the next morning visited this beautiful church.
It's called The Church of the Good Shepherd.

This is Dave coming to pick us up in our Britz motorhome.
Our beautiful girl in the morning light, even with bed hair she's still stunning!
Lake Ruataniwha.....the reflections were fantastic!
Driving towards the west coast we stopped at The Blue Pools where Dave had a little fish for some trout (no luck!)
This is us at The Franz Josef Glacier

Will leave it at that for now .......be back soon with part three!! Have a great weekend!

New Zealand

We're back!!! Got back from travelling around the south Island of New Zealand on Saturday. It's good to be home! Back to some normality and some home cooking!

We took over 3500 photos and hours and hours of video as we had a little camera attached to the windscreen of our Britz Motorhome so filmed a lot of the road travelling.
We spent 6 days snowboarding (well I didn't because of my back!) in Queenstown and then travelled around the island for another 12 days.
The girls had a ball in the snow, Olivia learnt to snowboard and Ella learnt to ski!

This is Olivia carving up the mountain!

Ella doing her lesson with "Jen" She was actually very good.

This is my little ski bunny Ella .....she looked so cute in her red jumpsuit.

The girls making a snowman at Coronets Peak.....Nice view huh......

The girls and I at Lake Wanaka which is in Queenstown. Gorgeous setting......
Dave and the girls at some wayside stop for a photo op! We were always pulling over and doing this! But that was the beauty and freedom you have in the camper!Think that might do for now....blogger isn't playing fair when I upload and it takes forever to move them to where I want thie piccies to go !

Will give you another update soon........ I'll leave you with this photo of Mount Cook ......

Pizza boxes and an ambulance!!!!

I had a couple of pizza boxes delivered to me in the last couple of weeks and so have had some yummy new products to play with. Hence these layouts.......

This is Ella when she was little ....isn't she a cutie! These are using Graphic 45 papers.

I think this is my new favourite...love the spray of flowers. Sass Lass pp's.

Ella at the beach on Straddie. Her name was washed away about 5 seconds after this photo was taken.

Some yummy new Basic Grey papers. Photo of the girls taken last year.

On another note I had a little accident on Sunday 12th.
I fell off my bike!!! And Ella fell with me!!! Actually I was strapping her into the baby seat on the back and then was trying to turn around to face the right way and my foot got caught on the bar and over we went....... my bum hit the pavers and my back hit the verandah post which is metal and not forgiving!!! For a few minutes I couldn't move and couldn't breath properly, luckily Dave was there and several other people (yes all witnesses!!!) Ella is ok just a little scrape on her arm.
They helped me to get upstairs and tried to lie on the bed but the pain was unbearable so Dave insisted/rang an ambulance and the paramedics came and took me hospital and gave me some lovely morphine on the way. (get seen to straight away if you arrive in an ambulance!!!)
Several hours later and some x-rays revealed I had severe bruising so off I was sent home with a script for some anti-inflammatories. Monday morning I had a phone call from the hospital to say that a radiologist has looked at my x-rays more extensively and I have slightly fractured one of the vertebraes in between my shoulder blades.
"Depression in the Superior end plate of T8 with a little flattening of T8. This is a recent fracture."
It will heal itself over time and just to take it easy in lifting things for a little while. I have to go back to the doctors next week. My butt is black and blue and red with a whopper bruise!!!
Hopefully everything will be ok before we go to NZ in a couple of weeks!!
Thanks for visiting.

I have been scrapping up a storm lately (something to do with yummy new products I think!!!)

So thought I'd share them with whoever is interested!!!! LOL!!!

This one is done using some yummy new Websters Pages and a Prima flower. Loooove these papers...there will be lots more of those to come LOL!!!

A quick simple one of Ella running through the Sandunes at Straddie.

A vintage beach one....got the page from an old Enid Blyton book I found at the Lifeline bookfest! It fitted perfectly with the background paper I got the other day!

Using some of the gorgeous new papers from October Afternoon.......

Another vintage one using yep! some more Graphic 45 papers...I can't get enough of them, they're awesome! This is my Dad when he was little.

That's all for now people.......

Thanks for looking, it's nice to share some of what I've been doing otherwise they just sit in a pile waiting to go into the albums I have to buy.....might go and do that now.
