My first Scrapboxx Challenge!!!!

It's my first go over at Scrapboxx this week for the weekly challenge........Here it is.......

I've been thinking long and hard about this all week and the criteria I want to you to put on a lo is pretty easy but it must include an ANIMAL.......whether it be a photo of one or an embellishment of one doesn't matter and you also must include the word LOVE somewhere on the LO.....in the title, in the journalling or on an embellishment.......

Don't forget there is a $5 Boxx shop voucher to be won!

Good luck girls and can't wait to see your entries......

So head on over and check it out!

Time for some Layouts

Thought it was time again to share some layouts I have done recently, well sort of recently, like in the last 2 months! I have not had much time lately to do much except the Christmas cards!

I am the Guest Design Team member at Scrapboxx this month (as well as becoming a permanent Design Team member too!!!! :)  and it was my turn to set a sketch challenge. This was my sketch .......

And this was my example.........

The competition has already been won by Kerry Snell
such a gorgeous layout!!!

These layouts were in a feature in the latest  Boxx newsletter and these were used to announce my Design Team position!!!!!

Ella at a gorgeous waterfall in New Zealand where baby seals come up to play

Olivia and her new roller blades on her 8th birthday, practising on the road out the front

Will be back later with some more to post....... E x

Some very exciting scrappy news and a dancing queen........

I am now a member of the SCRAPBOXX Design Team!!!!!!
How awesomely exciting is that?!?!?!? Well it is for me anyway ........It has been a dream of mine for many years to join this great group of talented ladies and thanks to the lovely Maria and her phone call yesterday she has made it a reality! I can't wait to receive my goodies and start creating for her!

On the scrapping front there hasn't been much as I 've hardly been home for a weekend for the last 2 months and then I've also been making Christmas cards too.....hopefully I can do some in the school holidays.

Next we had Ella's Dancing Concert last weekend and her grading presentation.........

Here she is holding her super trophy she received for her grading with a result of "HIGH DISTINCTION!"
The grading goes Commendation, High Commendation, Distinction, High Distinction and then Honours, so our little chicken did quite well and we were so proud of her performance too.
Here she is with her proud sister too.

Well done Ella!

I have finally taken some photos of some older layouts so i will upload them soon....
Have a great weekend

I've been busy........

And it's not been scrapping either !!! (unfortnately :( )

A couple of weeks ago a Bromeliad place we know up the road was having a sellout as they are moving so we went and spent a little bit of money ..........

This is the result of my efforts over the last few days trying to get them all planted in the gardens ...... I also have hundreds of scratches all over my arms and legs from the little blighters too!

This is what's left to plant still.....I counted about 120 when we bought them and then I gained about another 30 - 40 when I split some up from their mothers!!!

These were all taken from the verandah..........

Will be back in the next couple to show you some of my reunion pics as promised!

Have a great weekend ......you know what I'll be doing LOL!

Ok a few more Layouts.......

Thought I might as well upload these to here and get it over with LOL!

This one was done a while ago and has been hanging up in Blossie's on display. Using My Minds Eye PP's and some vintage items and transparencies. It is Olivia when she was about 2 1/2....so beautiful!

"Je T'Aime Olivia"

"My Family"
Using some gorgeous Websters Pages, I had a lot of fun cutting and placing these.....

"Patting Alice"
Olivia patting a giraffe at a zoo in New Zealand, using some earthy Cosma Cricket PP's.

"Our Rock Stacks"
Ella and I were bored waiting for Dave and Olivia at Franz Josef Glacier so we decided to make our own rock stacks!

"My Girl"
Using some yummy Prima PP's and flowers and some odd old ones too........A selfie we took whilst in NZ.

"You are........"
This is one I finished just last week. Lots of hand cutting on this one! :)

Think that will do for now .......nighty night!

New layouts..........

Updating with some new layouts I did for Blossie's. This month's theme was "No Photos!"
At first it was quite hard to think of what to do.....but here is what I came up with.........
"The Tree of Life"

Made with a real tree branch which is hand sewn on and intertwined with the vine ribbon.

"Nanna's Date Nutties"
Made with the Websters Pages that just fitted with this Lo beautifully.

"My style'
I made a extra large version of the little fabric flowers that I usually make ....

Will be back soon with some more lo's and some photos of ny High School Reunion I went to on the weekend.

Love E x
